Automation reduces errors and improves efficiency in sustainable lighting studies
ARRE —27/1/2025— ATP Lighitng is a beneficiary SME of the 2nd Open Call for Advanced Technology Uptake Projects and will indirectly receive EUR 10.500 from the European Union's Single Market Programme through the SILEO Eurocluster project (GA 101074564).
The Automated Outdoor Lighting Design System (AOLDS) project aims to streamline the design and calculation of road lighting through automation. The project addresses inefficiencies in manual lighting studies and luminaire configuration, which are resource-intensive and prone to human error. By integrating an advanced algorithm, the software automates lighting level calculations, optimizes energy-efficient luminaire configurations, and generates energy labels in bulk, ensuring compliance with sustainability regulations. ATP is collaborating with OxyTech, a technology provider with expertise in software solutions for the lighting industry. This partnership will enhance ATP's capacity to deliver optimized, eco-friendly lighting solutions, significantly improving project efficiency and reducing environmental impact.
