The Navarrese company delivered a technical presentation on the uses and benefits of warm color temperatures in outdoor lighting
MÉRIDA, YUCATÁN —15/5/2024— ATP Lighting recently had the privilege to participate in the 115th National Assembly of FCARM (Federation of Architects' Associations of the Mexican Republic) through its commercial director for Mexico, Gerardo Flores. The Navarrese company delivered a presentation on the use of ultra-warm color temperatures in outdoor lighting, within the framework of the event "Mobility and Architecture: The Cities of Tomorrow," held in Mérida, Yucatán.
During this gathering, ATP presented proven solutions to achieve environmentally friendly lighting projects suitable for human needs and biodiversity. The full conference is available on ATP Lighting's YouTube channel.
The vice president of ATP, Guillermo Redrado, explained through this technical video lecture how the appropriate choice of light spectrum can positively impact urban life and the conservation of fauna and flora. The presentation analyzes the importance, in reducing light pollution, of minimizing the blue component (wavelengths below 440 nm) in the spectral radiance of luminaires. The same warm color temperature can have differences in the percentage of blue spectral component of up to 45% depending on the manufacturer. ATP ensures that its warm and ultra-warm color temperatures have the lowest blue indices in the market.
