The walkway has been illuminated with assemblies consisting of Metrópoli LBLC luminaires with conical finishes and four-meter Coliseo columns
MÁLAGA —14/12/2023— ATP Lighting has completed another section of the lighting project on the Coastal Path of Marbella (Málaga, Spain), a wooden path along the sea, perfect for walking and sports.
The municipality's City Council has chosen modern and elegant lighting with an ornamental touch. The path has been illuminated with corrosion-resistant assemblies from ATP, consisting of four-meter Coliseum columns (the first two-meter section in dark gray and the second in light gray) and Metrópoli LBLC luminaires in dark gray, with an illuminated white conical finish that adds distinction.
Lighting studies conducted by ATP have allowed for maximum uniformity, with a color temperature pleasant to the eye and high color reproduction, accurately and naturally displaying colors. Additionally, the luminaires are supplied with Comfort Diffuser® to mitigate glare in low-height installations and ensure the visual comfort of path users.
To control light pollution, special attention has been given to ensuring that the percentage of spectral radiant flux below 440 nm wavelength (blues) is minimal, achieved through warm color temperatures. It's not just about installing a warm light source; the crucial aspect is the mentioned spectral radiance data: the same color temperature can vary by up to 45% in the blue spectral component depending on the manufacturer. Therefore, ATP Lighting ensures that its warm and ultra-warm color temperatures have the lowest blue indices on the market.
The corrosion immunity of ATP lighting has been crucial in this coastal project: the brand's luminaires, made with technical engineering polymers, come with a comprehensive 10-year warranty, even in extreme conditions of humidity, temperature, and salinity. This feature contributes to cost savings in maintenance, especially in coastal lighting.
Moreover, ATP assemblies, with Class II+ anti-electrocution columns, ensure electrical safety in an environment frequented by children and pets.
