BARCELONA —8/11/2024— ATP Lighting has successfully concluded its participation in the 2024 Smart City Expo World Congress in Barcelona. From November 5-7, the company was present in Hall 2 (booth F104) at Fira Gran Vía, where it introduced its outdoor lighting solutions, designed to create safer, more sustainable, and more efficient urban spaces.
Throughout the event, the ATP team welcomed professionals from around the world, including visitors from the United States, Australia, Brazil, Ecuador, Spain, Poland, Italy, Iceland, Germany, and the United Kingdom, among others, further consolidating its presence in the international market.
To capture the highlights of this dynamic experience, ATP has prepared a video summary showcasing the energy and key moments of these three intensive days in Barcelona:
Innovation and sustainability: ATP Lighting’s hallmarks
ATP Lighting’s booth captivated visitors with its latest innovation, the Metrópoli Color luminaire, internationally recognized for its advanced design.
This luminaire features an RGBW backlit cover, capable of displaying more than 250 million colors and is controllable via DMX protocol, making it ideal for creating dynamic urban experiences and synchronizing lighting effects for events such as concerts or fireworks displays. Furthermore, Metrópoli Color is environmentally conscious, with an upward light emission (ULOR) of less than 1%, which aligns with environmental certifications such as Starlight.
Visitors also had the opportunity to learn about ATP's exclusive materials used in luminaires made from technical polymers, offering total immunity to corrosion. This durability makes them ideal for challenging environments, such as coastal areas where salt can severely impact metal fixtures. Additionally, all ATP solutions are Class II+ anti-electrocution, ensuring the highest level of electrical safety in public spaces.
A team of specialists dedicated to urban lighting
The ATP Lighting team at the congress consisted of Raquel Fernández Pérez (Lighting Projects), Arturo López Rivera (Head of Sales for the Western Region), Andrés Armañanzas Hermoso de Mendoza (Director of the Lighting Department), and Julio Aparicio (Communications Director). Each of these professionals was instrumental in providing guidance and support to visitors, detailing the unique features of ATP's products and creating a collaborative, informative environment at the booth.
Commitment to the future of lighting and smart cities
ATP Lighting also reaffirmed its commitment to standardization and connectivity in its luminaires as a member of the Zhaga Consortium. The company advocates for the integration of advanced communication and sensor technologies, enabling efficient management of lighting in smart cities and allowing authorities to monitor performance and energy consumption effectively. This approach aligns with the digitalization and sustainability trends transforming modern cities.
Positive conclusion and new horizons
ATP Lighting’s participation at the 2024 Smart City Expo World Congress provided an excellent opportunity to strengthen its international market position and showcase its latest innovations in outdoor lighting to industry stakeholders. With each new connection, ATP reinforces its mission to contribute to the development of safer, more sustainable, and more vibrant cities.
ATP Lighting extends its gratitude to everyone who visited its booth and provided the opportunity to share its vision of the future of urban lighting. After days of valuable experiences and intensive activities, the company leaves Barcelona with new projects, ideas, and collaborations, reaffirming its commitment to a more efficient and sustainable future for cities.
