The Navarre company contributes with two presentations, one on warm color temperatures in outdoor lighting and another on their customized project for the comprehensive renovation of lighting in Tudela
HUESCA —12/5/2022— This year, ATP has participated as a GOLD sponsor in the XLIX National Lighting Symposium organized by the Spanish Lighting Committee (CEI), held from May 10th to 12th in Huesca. According to Guillermo Redrado, COO at the Navarre company and also the Northern Zone delegate of the CEI, ATP has chosen a prominent sponsorship due to the importance of the Symposium as a meeting point for the sector:
"The Symposium is a privileged forum for sharing the innovations and knowledge generated in our industry, as well as for contributing our vision of what we understand as good lighting and how it can serve and benefit society. It also serves an important disseminating function and promotes the development of knowledge in the field of outdoor lighting."
In his presentations, Redrado highlighted two challenges that the lighting sector currently faces:
1. Addressing the energy crisis through a rational transition to LED: “The transition from discharge technology to LED has immense savings potential if accompanied by an appropriate lighting project and a proper adaptation of the product to the specific needs of the scenario”.
2. Mitigating light pollution: "We can achieve this by properly sizing lighting projects, manufacturing specific solutions for each case, and using ultra-warm color temperatures with very low levels of blue component in their spectral radiance”.
ATP has also contributed to this edition of the Symposium with two presentations jointly developed by the Director of R&D Electronics, Sandra Solán Colazet; the Director of the Lighting Department, Andrés Armañanzas Hermoso de Mendoza, and the COO of the Navarre company, Guillermo Redrado.
The first presentation focused on achieving warm color temperatures in outdoor lighting and maintaining their properties over time; the second one addressed the comprehensive renovation of lighting in Tudela, where ATP has carried out a large-scale customized project with tailored luminaires to meet all the needs of the scenario with minimal energy consumption.
