ATP renews its ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 certificates, as well as the N, ENEC, CE, and CB seals for its entire catalog of luminaires and columns

PAMPLONA —5/2/2021— ATP Lighting closes the first month of 2021 renewing its certificates ISO 9001 “Quality Management System”, ISO 14001 “Environmental Management System”, and ISO 45001 “Occupational Health and Safety Management System”, as well as the N, ENEC, CE, and CB seals for its entire catalog of luminaires and columns, after passing all the audits carried out with AENOR since November 2020.

ATP thus maintains and reinforces its commitment to excellence in product quality and process efficiency, satisfaction of customer needs, occupational safety, and protection of the environment. "These certificates are a fundamental strategic axis for the company, internally and concerning our environment, and establish a solid framework for continuous improvement in key areas", highlights Javier Álvarez, head of the Quality, Environment and JSA Department at ATP Lighting. 

ISO 9001 "Quality Management System" 

ISO 9001 is the standard for quality management systems (QMS) most widely used in the world in customer/supplier relations, "the universal language in this type of exchange in many sectors", as AENOR points out, and allows to demonstrate the companies' ability to meet the needs of their customers. In short, this certification guarantees efficient management of the processes that result in effective products and services over time. 

ISO 14001 "Environmental Management System" 

Sustainable industrial activities require a comprehensive environmental commitment. It is not enough to reduce polluting emissions and energy consumption, but it is necessary to control the production process in all its stages, down to the smallest details.

That is the central idea of ​​ISO 14001, which guarantees that every step that the company takes to develop and distribute its product —from the selection of reliable suppliers to the transport of the items for final delivery— is environmentally friendly and complies with all European legal requirements.

ISO 45001 "Occupational Health and Safety Management System" 

ISO 45001 "Occupational Health and Safety Management System" (OSH) ensures the implementation of best practices for preventing occupational risks. This certificate favors the enterprise's productive efficiency and also encourages employees to perceive the company more positively, as it reduces the number of accidents and illnesses, decreases the number of emergencies, and improves the well-being of workers.

Some of the measures implemented by ATP to comply with the ISO 45001 standard are the adaptation of equipment and workplaces and the provision of comprehensive training on safety and health, including emergency plans with evacuation drills and information related to dangerous goods handling and fire management. 

N, ENEC, CE, and CB certificates 

These certificates, obtained through AENOR after passing the pertinent tests, guarantee the IP66, IK10, and Class II categories of the entire catalog of ATP Lighting luminaires and columns in three territorial areas: national (N), European (ENEC and CE), and global (CB).
