State-of-the-art ATP polymeric materials
The revolution led by ATP in public lighting industry has its cornerstone in the materials we use to make all our street lights and urban furniture: latest-generation engineering polymers, of exclusive formulation, which bring the resistance to external agents and vandalism to unreachable limits for steel and aluminum. Our products integrate two types of polymers with excellent performance; S7 –for bases, columns, arms and chassis– and T5 –for diffusers–, both unique in the market, which also eliminate the risk of electrocution. Together they form the core of the most durable luminaires and columns in the world.
Our Engineered Technical Reinforced Polymer S7 is immune to corrosion and to any adversity of the elements, as well as anti-electrocution. Tropical storms, intense sunlight, extreme humidity, highly contaminated or toxic environments; none of these threats affect the S7. The material has been subjected to 3000 hours of UV radiation without showing any color disruption. We talk about a product with unparalleled solidity.
The high impact Transparent Tropicalized Thermo-Polymer T5 is made with chemical polishing technology to achieve exceptional transparency and transmittance. Provides, also, a resistance to collisions 200 times greater than glass and, like the S7, is capable of withstanding and passing impact tests over 50 joules –more than twice the IK EN 62262 standard–.
These materials are far from what other brands offer. ATP streetlights that have been installed for more than 20 years remain unchanged, while those of other manufacturers show severe symptoms of deterioration and corrosion in half the time, or even have to be replaced. In addition, unlike other brands, we do not buy columns and arms to third parties, but manufacture them ourselves using the exceptionally robust S7, providing all our products with an unequaled toughness in the sector. Moreover, S7 and T5 polymers, thanks to his robustness and immutability, require no maintenance, and that means substantial long-term savings.
