The series of classics adds to the Siglo, Plaza, Malaki and Enur, and validates its IP66, IK10 and Class II categories in an international scope
PAMPLONA —19/06/2017— Another ATP Lighting's family of luminaires already enjoys the certificates N, ENEC and CB granted by AENOR, both in their versions of discharge as in LED. This time, as ATP recently advanced, it is the turn for the series of squared classics Villa and Villa Royal, which joins to the circular classics Siglo, Plaza and Malaki, and to the road and suburban luminaire family Enur.
As in previous cases, the Villa has had to pass the tests required by AENOR in the Official Central Laboratory of Electrical Engineering (LCOE), which guarantees –among other parameters of electromagnetic compatibility, performance and technical safety– the IP66, IK10 and Class II of the aforementioned luminaires. These certificates also cover different and complementary territorial domains: national (N), European (ENEC) and global (CB, valid in more than 50 countries in the rest of the world).
Thanks to these distinctions, ATP can accredit, at an international level and through an independent and prestigious organization such as AENOR, three of the unique and defining characteristics of its products, such as total sealing, maximum resistance to vandalism and absolute protection against electrocution.
Above the norm: IP66+, IK10+ and Class II+
As is common to all ATP products, Villa family goes beyond the standards and exceeds widely the demanding requirements set to obtain N, ENEC and CB certificates. In this way, Villa street lights have the following characteristics:
IP66+: Villa's total sealing –IP66– is not limited to the optical block, but includes the entire luminaire. Drivers and other electrical and electronic elements are thus completely protected against the possible penetration of liquids and solid particles.
IK10+: These luminaires withstand impact tests greater than 50 joules, which is more than twice the maximum set by IK standard –IK10, 20 joules–.
Class II+: Villa is well above Class II, as it has a dielectric strenght –voltage necessary for an insulating body to start conducting electricity– of 175 000 volts, which is 60 times higher than what is required by the standard to achieve this category.
These unique capabilities ensure the durability and safety of this squared classics family even under the most extreme conditions.
Laminar® Heatsink and Confort® Diffuser in Villa LED
LED versions of Villa family come standard with the revolutionary Laminar Heatsink®, a system designed and patented by ATP to solve the overheating of LED modules and prolong their lifespan. This device lowers the LED operating temperature by 21 % and extends its life by more than 21 000 hours.
Villa LED can also be supplied with Comfort Diffuser®, specially devised to mitigate glare –one of the main drawbacks of this light source– but without sacrificing any of the exceptional performance and efficiency of diode technology.
