ATP stands out at the 50th National Lighting Symposium of the Spanish Lighting Committee with advanced technological solutions

VALENCIA —7/6/2024— ATP participated in the 50th National Lighting Symposium of the Spanish Lighting Committee (CEI), a key event for lighting and energy professionals. This gathering, held in Valencia with the attendance of more than 300 experts and 90 renowned speakers, served as an ideal platform to present the company's latest innovations.

During the symposium, Guillermo Redrado, vice president of ATP, gave a presentation on "Intelligent Sensorization," where he detailed the capabilities of this system, which allows for remote management or autonomous operation to adjust the light flow and change the color temperature of the luminaires according to specific needs.

On the other hand, Andrés Armañanzas, Director of the Lighting Department at ATP, presented the conference "Color as a Means of Communication." In this talk, Armañanzas showcased the capabilities of the new Metrópoli Color luminaire, launched on May 22, to signal various situations in urban environments. The luminaire can indicate street closures, construction sites, emergency service locations, air quality information, or commemorate specific days with appropriate colors.

Video interview: Andrés Armañanzas presents Metrópoli Color

In an interview conducted by the CEI, Andrés Armañanzas, Director of the Lighting Department at ATP, detailed the origin and applications of the new Metrópoli Color luminaire. With its RGBW backlit cover, controllable via Bluetooth or DMX, this luminaire offers extensive decorative and signaling possibilities. Additionally, its design ensures minimal impact on the darkness of the night sky, with an upper hemisphere flux (UHF) of less than 1%, making it compatible with the Starlight quality sky certification.
