The new lighting addresses previously dark and unevenly illuminated areas in the city, providing environmentally-friendly and visually pleasing illumination
TUDELA —4/8/2023— The City Council of Tudela has undertaken a comprehensive project in collaboration with ATP Iluminación to modernize the city's lighting. This initiative involved replacing approximately 8000 luminaires with LED technology, many of them featuring an ultra-warm color temperature of 2200 K. Through meticulous calculations of light and energy, and personalized optimization of optics and photometries, this renovation resulted in an impressive total energy savings of approximately 85% compared to the previous installation.
As the second most populous city in Navarra and a prominent economic and commercial center in the Ribera region, Tudela required a large-scale, tailor-made approach with LED luminaires that would meet the complex demands of the environment while minimizing energy consumption. The new lighting not only addresses previously dim and unevenly lit areas but also offers visually pleasing illumination that is environmentally respectful.
ATP Iluminación extends its public appreciation to the participants featured in this video: Alejandro Toquero, mayor of Tudela; Zeus Pérez, councilor of Urban Development and Sustainability at the City Council of Tudela; Eduardo Erro, director of Urban Development and Sustainability at the City Council of Tudela; Luis Miguel Navarro, engineering consultant and vice president of the Spanish Lighting Committee (CEI); David Sola, manager of Ríos Renovables, as well as the residents of Tudela who kindly shared their experiences with the new lighting.
